$1 Febreze fabric refreshers (Home Made Simple Q)
$1 Febreze air effects (Home Made Simple Q)

E-coupons plus overage

Go here to read more about the e-coupons. This post shows a recent example of using e-coupons plus regular coupons. You can see how you get overage on certain items by using the e-coupons. Sign up at cellfire.com and shortcuts.com you need to have your Safeway card number (not your phone number.) These are so easy!! No clipping required.

Some shopping savings week of 2/8 to 2/15

Last week was an AMAZING week to shop with coupons. There were so many good coupons and great store deals. Especially at Walgreens and Rite Aid. It got even better because on Friday almost everything at Walgreens was 15% off. I went a little over board with my shopping. But we could probably not have to leave the house for the next month and be ok. (except for milk.) This is some of the items that I bought on Friday at Walgreens. I ended up making 13 transactions at Walgreens last week total. I spent $66.16 and saved $243.89. Plus I still had $15 in register rewards to spend. I ended up buying 6 packages of Huggies diapers, 8 boxes of Mac & Cheese more body wash and 3 razors. Tim even went to Walgreens once for me. I told him what to buy and gave him the coupons to use. Way to go Tim!!

I also went to Rite Aid twice last week. (I didn't take any pictures.) I spent $25.11 and saved $36.99. I am getting $9.50 in mail in rebates and a $5 Visa gift card from Rite Aid. Wahoo!!

Do you use the e-coupons from cellfire.com and shortcuts.com?? They are my favorite! That's why I shop almost always at Safeway anymore. I purchased these items at Safeway on Monday night. I spent $1.17 for all 6 items. (I saved 93%) There were e-coupons for the fiber one yogurt and the frosting. The best thing about the e-coupons is that you add them to your card and wait for the item to be on sale. I have overage of $2 for buying the yogurt and I $1.11 in overage for the frosting. Safeway won't give you money back so I purchased the other items that I needed to make up the difference. I had a free coupon for the package of Oreo's. The e-coupons are hard to explain. I can explain better in person. The best advice is load ALL the coupons onto your card everytime they are available from both websites. That is how I got the overage.
CVS on Monday night: I spent $2.38 out of pocket. I saved $40.03. I paid my entire purchase with change! Plus I got $12.50 ECB to spend at CVS in the future! We needed the chips for Miles' science project.

Capri Sun coupon

I found this coupon today. It is for $1.00/2 Capri Sun boxes. I have never seen a coupon for Capri Suns so I am pretty excited. Click Here for the Firefox link. Capri Suns are part of the $20 Kraft Back to School Rebate. Also at Walgreens this week and next week you can buy 2 pack of Capri Suns for $6. You will get a $2 Register Reward back, plus use the $1 coupon and it is like paying $1.50 for each package.

You can go here and see all the Kraft coupons.

Arguing with a checker

So I saw this today and totally laughed. Arguing with a Checker.

I had a little run it at Safeway on Saturday. I had 3 of the same products and 3 coupons. The cashier would only use 2 -saying that was their policy. So I said fine and was ready to leave. Then the cashier started talking to the manager about their policy and that she was the only one who enforces it. So I walked over to the Customer Service desk with the cashier and the manager. And showed them that each coupon from the internet has a different pin number; and for each computer you can print off 2 coupons. The manager was nice and gave me a $1 and I gave him the coupon. I wasn't rude but I was trying to be confident in my coupon using skills. I'm sure we all have had instances already using coupons. Some cashiers are nicer than others.

I just hope Jen doesn't permanently get kicked out of Target!!

Walgreens - Aqaufina Bottled Water

See the link here for all the details on how to get 4 cases of bottled water for about $10. (includes the CRV.)

(The only bummer is we have to pay $1.20 CRV for each case. -- I recycle so I guess I am getting the $$ back.)

I did this today! I went to the Walgreens out on Kirker Pass. (They also had their Christmas Candy 75% off so each of the kids got a small treat.) I feel by using coupons we have been able to purchase items and use them for our food storage. I couldn't pass up this deal. I also had register rewards from prior purchases so I saved an extra $9. I love shopping at Walgreens!
